From JR's personal collection is this one of a kind analog audio master tape... this is the original 1/2" Mix Master tape for the song "Collide"!
This master analog 1/2" tape reel was made during the mixing of Dishwalla's 5th album. This is the tape that is sent to the mastering engineer to upload digitally so it can be mastered.
This version of Collide was produced by Bill Szymczyk (Eagles, BB King) and mixed by Steve Churchyard (Sex Pistols, Eagles) at O'Henry Recording Studios in North Hollywood, CA.
There are 3 versions of Collide on this reel:
- Collide - Master Version
- Collide - Vocal Up (master version with vocal a little louder)
- Collide - Vocal Down (master version with vocal a little softer)
Note - The various mixes are so the mastering engineer has some choices while mastering.
This is the real deal and will need to have special expedited shipping in order to protect the analog tape's integrity. (Hence the costly shipping)
