This is one of only two Master DISCS in existence for Dishwalla's 5th album Dishwalla 5. This is one of only two discs created to be used for replicating the album in every format (ie CD, iTunes, Spotify etc)
Mastering is the final process in making an album and VERY important one as a good or bad Mastering Engineer can make or break an album's sound quality.
NOTABLE- This album was mastered by none other than multi Grammy award winning Ted Jenson at the famous Sterling Sound in NYC. One of the top Mastering Engineers in the world. It was also done under the guidance of Grammy winning producer Bill Szymczyk (Eagles, B.B. King, Joe Walsh) Bill was one of three amazing producers we used on this album including Sylvia Massey (Tool, System of a Down) and Ryan Greene (No FX, Megadeath). We made what I believe to be is the heaviest Dishwalla album ever. With both "Collide" and "Ease the Moment" as my two favorites out of all the songs I wrote for that album.... and especially "Ease the Moment" as it captured the true 'magic' that I always hope for when you write & record a song.
This is an extremely rare piece of Dishwalla history. - JR
